Often referred to as Napa’s charming cousin, Sonoma offers many of the same amenities and attractions as its neighbor to the east, only with fewer tourists and a much more laid back vibe. There are easily just as many wineries in Sonoma as there are in nearby Napa, and the overall atmosphere felt throughout the Sonoma area feels much more suburban that other tourist traps found throughout this part of the state. Amenities and Attractions in Sonoma

But plenty of places to hike, kayak, swim, or mountain bike are also scattered all throughout the area, making it a great landing spot for anyone who loves to get outside and stay active.
