Gerstle Park Real Estate Market

Gerstle Park is an architecturally diverse community. Many homes date back to the late 1800s and early 1900s and represent a wide variety of real estate, ranging from gracious Victorian estates to charming Arts and Crafts bungalows. There is also a mid-century influence evident in the neighborhood, as many older properties were replaced by apartment buildings and duplexes in the 1950s and 60s.

Gerstle Park has one of San Rafael's largest concentrations of Victorian and turn-of-the-century properties. An ongoing effort is being made to upgrade or replace apartments and other buildings in keeping with the historic style of the neighborhood.
