Forbes/Fairhills Real Estate Market

The southernmost section of Fairhills borders the culturally rich Fifth and Mission District of downtown San Rafael and maintains a charming old-world character. The southern section of Fairhills shares a boundary with downtown San Rafael. Homes in this area are older and reflect the historic nature of the neighborhood. This San Rafael real estate includes gracious Victorians and charming craftsman bungalows. More contemporary properties can be found on the hillsides, where new homes have been built to take advantage of the natural surroundings.

Fairhills/Forbes is essentially built-out and very little new development is taking place. There are, however, still a few vacant hillside lots available on which to build a custom home.
