Pacheco Real Estate Market

With a population of under 4,000 people, the Pacheco real estate market is about what you would expect from a small town, both from an inventory and home price standpoint. Many homes in Pacheco were built during the mid-1900's, and are the low-slung ranch style that is typical of the era, although more contemporary homes and condos dot the area as well. A large mobile home complex is at Pacheco's eastern edge, between I-680 and the Buchanan Field Airport. Chances are what few homes you'll find available in Pacheco feature a traditional two-story, a small bungalow, or a classic ranch style and design, which is what tends to dominate the marketplace here. Like anywhere, home prices in Pacheco vary depending on square footage and location, but it's safe to say most single-family residences here start somewhere in the mid-400's and usually top out close to $700,000.

Pacheco Community Amenities

Situated right where Highway 4 and Interstate 680 intersect, Pacheco also sits just south of Martinez and just east of Concord, not to mention only a short 10-minute drive from Walnut Creek. Although you'll find a slight mix of agriculture and industry in the Pacheco area, much of its landscape features residential development and a few busy shopping centers just south of town along Contra Costa Boulevard. Diablo Valley College is also located just outside Pacheco, as is Buchanan Field Airport, which is one of four airports in Contra Costa County.
