Oakmore Real Estate Market

Most homes for sale in Oakmore were originally built in the 1920s and 1930s. Back then, many viewed this part of the city as little more than a bedroom community for people who worked in nearby San Francisco. Today, however, many of the hillside estates you’ll find throughout the Oakmore neighborhood are highly sought-after by home buyers, and home prices tend to reflect its desirability. Along with single-family homes, which usually start somewhere in the low $800,000s, duplexes are also common around Oakmore, which still provide plenty of living space and can be somewhat of an affordable alternative to a stand alone single-family residence. Look for a typical duplex unit in Oakmore to list somewhere between $600,000 and $700,000 in most instances, but prices largely depend on updates and specific finishes on the interior.

Oakmore Community Amenities

For anybody who loves being outside and staying active, Oakmore is a great location to consider due to Diamond Canyon Park and all its fabulous outdoor amenities bordering the neighborhood’s north east side. The Roberts Recreation Area and Joaquin Miller Park are also right on the other side of Highway 13, giving local home owners even more options when it comes to getting outside and enjoying all the stunning natural scenery this part of Northern California has to offer.
