Brookfield Village Real Estate Statistics

Located in East Oakland, Brookfield Village is actually one of the first suburban-style tract housing developments to be built in Oakland, which explains all the long rows of single-family homes that seem to stretch on forever. Because homes for sale in Brookfield Village were built back in the early 1900s, and specifically for the working class, you’ll find most houses are smaller, one-level dwellings that provide just enough living space, but also a fairly sizable amount of yard space as well. And as one of Oakland’s more affordable residential neighborhoods, look for most houses in Brookfield Village to list for somewhere between $250,000 and $500,000.

Brookfield Village Community Amenities

The land in which Brookfield Village was built was initially intended for industrial use, but today, it’s almost entirely residential outside of a few convenience stores, gas stations, and markets along Edes Avenue on the neighborhood’s north side. Easy access to Interstate 880 makes getting to and from downtown Oakland fairly quick and easy, which to some, is one of Brookfield Village’s best qualities.
