Gordon Valley Real Estate

Some may think Gordon Valley is out in the boonies. Others claim that it is a piece of paradise. Set among the rolling hills of southeastern Napa County, surrounded by vineyards and ranchlands, Gordon Valley is a little bit of both.  Located 17 miles east of Napa, and fewer that 15 minutes from Fairfield, Gordon Valley is off the beaten path, but the businesses, services and conveniences of urban life are within easy driving distance.

Gordon Valley Homes for Sale

Gordon Valley is more of a neighborhood of sorts that acts as a distinguished part of the Napa community. Home to around 350 people, Gordon Valley is located on the far west side of Napa, not far from the city of Fairfield. Wooden Valley Road runs almost directly through the middle of the Gordon Valley area, and Lake Curry occupies most of its northeast corner. Like most of Napa County, the terrain throughout Gordon Valley is hilly and generally covered by sweeping meadows, forests, and of course plenty of vineyards as well.

Gordon Valley Real Estate

The Gordon Valley housing landscape is mostly defined by homes that sit on large parcels that mostly all have incredible vineyard potential. In many instances, established vineyards are already a part of a significant number of Gordon Valley properties, and continue to be a the primary driving force behind why home buyers ultimately choose to call this part of Napa County home. In addition, there’s also no doubt that the rolling hills and surrounding mountainous scenery truly make this a picturesque place to call home, and if you’re lucky enough to find a home on or near Lake Curry, you might also get to enjoy some pretty majestic water views as well!
