Geyserville Real Esate

Located at the junction of Highways 101 and 128, midway between Healdsburg and Cloverdale in the heart of Sonoma County's famed Alexander Valley, Geyserville CA has long been a tourist attraction. In its early years visitors arrived by stagecoach to visit the thermal hot springs and steam vents of the area. Today transportation has changed, and modern day travelers come to tour the wineries and taste the wines produced in the Alexander Valley and the nearby Dry Creek Valley.

Wine buffs aren't, however, the only ones to enjoy the Geyserville area.  Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to do in the area, as well.  Lake Sonoma is just minutes away from Geyserville and offers tourists and Sonoma County residents a huge array of recreational opportunity that includes boating and fishing, as well as horseback, hiking, and mountain biking trails.  When mealtime arrives, Geyserville has several interesting restaurants (including Catelli's - which has been featured on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives), or hungry diners can make the 10-minute drive to Healdsburg, which boasts some of the area's trendier eateries.

Most of the homes in Geyserville were built during the period between 1950 and the early 1970s and represent the traditional mid-century, single-family home sensibility of the times.  On the outskirts of Geyserville, many homes are located on acreage that offer seclusion, privacy, and oftentimes views of the rolling hills and vineyards surrounding the area.

Geyserville, California Real Estate

Real estate cost tends to be a bit high in Geyserville, due to its location in some of Sonoma County's premier wine country.  Geyserville real estate does, however, offer lots of options - from existing single-family residences to custom designed properties surrounded by vineyards or acreage just waiting for you to build your dream house on.  If you have ever wanted to live in (or near) a vineyard, consider looking at homes and property for sale in Geyserville, CA.

Geyserville Homes for Sale

Situated just an hour north of San Francisco is the small town of Geyserville, population 541 as of 2010. Officially an unincorporated community and census designated part of Sonoma County, Geyserville only consists of a coupe small wineries and restaurants, a deli, and a few small shops along the way. But for dog owners, there’s also a small dog salon right in the middle of town too, which is actually pretty convenient for anybody who like to make sure Fido is looking his best. For added convenience, Highway 101 also runs right alongside Geyserville, and Santa Rosa is also only about a 30 minute drive south as well, which of course acts as the Sonoma County seat and features plenty of other bigger city amenities and attractions for area residents to enjoy.

Geyserville Real Estate
