Although Circle Oaks is a rural residential neighborhood, it isn't far from the resources of city life.  Napa, the largest city in Napa County is 10 miles southwest of Circle Oaks, and offers all the services necessary for everyday life.  For weekends and leisure time, Circle Oaks is just minutes away from boating at Lake Berryessa, golf at the Silverado or Napa Valley Country Clubs, and some of the finest restaurants and wineries in the wine country.

Established in 1964, Circle Oaks is a community that was planned to harmonize with nature.  Each of the 339 lots is a perfect, ¼ acre circle.  The spaces between each circular parcel are designated as a greenbelt to be preserved as open space, creating a pleasant aesthetic for residents.  Homes in Circle Oaks are detached single-family homes that range from Mid-century ranches built when the subdivision was first developed to newer, recently constructed homes.

Circle Oaks Homes for Sale

Circle Oaks, California is a small, unincorporated part of Napa County with, believe it or not, a unique reputation and a fair amount of history. Most locals know Circle Oaks as a distinguished residential neighborhood of sorts that’s situated just off Monticello Road on the way to Lake Barryessa. Described in the original promotional brochure as a “subdivision for particular people who prefer to live in seclusion away from the resort crowds," Circle Oaks still offers plenty of privacy and seclusion today  thanks to most of the community being shielded by thick layer of trees near the community entrance and fairly steep terrain basically surrounding the entire property. And because each home in Circle Oaks also lies on a large quarter-acre home site, isolation and peace and quiet tend to define the Circle Oaks lifestyle, even as other parts of Napa County have grown, evolved, and developed over the years. 

Circle Oaks Real Estate 

The first home in the Circle Oaks community was built all the way back in 1965, but the overwhelming majority of houses here were completed sometime in the 1980s or ‘90s. Housing styles vary a but in Circle Oaks, but you’ll still find most are relatively modest and offer somewhere between 1,300 and just over 2,000 square feet. The types of homes at Circle Oaks vary. The first was built in 1965 and the majority in the 1980s and 1990s. Some are modest homes of about 1,300 square feet, other more than 2,000 square feet. Sale prices in recent months ranged from about $260,000 to $530,000, records show. Today, Circle Oaks has right around 179 single-family homes, and because of the neighborhood’s location pretty far away from area amenities and attractions, it’s actually considered to be one of the more affordable places to call home in all of Napa County. Interested home buyers should expect to find most homes for sale in Circle Oaks to start in the mid-to-high $300,000s, which a very reasonable starting point for just about anywhere in the Bay Area and beyond.
