Why Residents of Marin County Love Living Here (Part 2)
As an east coast transplant, I love meeting new people and hearing why they love living in Marin County. I was able to catch up with a few more Marin residents, here's what they had to say:
I chose to live in Larkspur because of the convenience to the freeway. The town itself is filled with natural beauty and great trails for hiking. Larkspur is centrally located and has the best downtown area for shopping and eating at great restaurants. The weather is absolutely amazing and I can get to the East Bay to visit my family very easily. - Jocelyn, Larkspur
I love living in San Rafael, specifically the Dominican neighborhood because of the location to the college. It's a beautiful setting; I have Redwood trees in my backyard. I'm a 5 minute walk into downtown where there are great shops and restaurants. San Rafael has a vibrant nightlife which I like to take advantage of. I love the tranquility of China Camp being so close to us. San Rafael is super diverse which was important to us when looking for a place to live in Marin. My husband commutes and we're just 25 minutes to SF. - Jennifer, San Rafael
When I moved to Sausalito, I was so excited because it's such a diverse, eclectic group of people; artists, poets and creative types. We're so close to SF, the commute is so easy. The views are incredible and if you have a boat, which we do, you can take it out on the water all the time and enjoy a different perspective of Marin and San Francisco. I walk downtown from my home where I can enjoy the movie theater and a variety of restaurants. - Allison, Sausalito
I love living in San Anselmo. The Spanish style homes and the architecture in the area are just beautiful. We moved from San Francisco because we were tired of the foggy weather. San Anselmo has abundant sunshine what feels like year round. I love how warm it is and how great the local schools are.  Downtown San Anselmo is really cute and has great restaurants. I love the parks and how I can walk everywhere with my toddler. Everyone in our neighborhood has young kids who ride their bikes all the time; it's a really great community. - Catherine, San Anselmo
Whether you are relocating, moving to the suburbs from San Francisco, or just want local information, I welcome the opportunity to help you in Marin County.
