Thanksgiving Alternatives in Oakland

A few local restaurants are highlighting their Thanksgiving menus this year for those of you that are looking for another option on November 27th.

Lake Chalet, 1250 Lakeside Dr. in Oakland:Â Many of you will already be familiar with this well-known restaurant on Lake Merritt. In addition to their regular menu, Lake Chalet will be serving a holiday three-course prix fixe meal as well as additional holiday side dishes. The Terrace Room (at Lake Merritt Hotel), 1800 Madison St. in Oakland: Another Oakland staple near Lake Merritt will be featuring a full buffet menu with all the usual Thanksgiving classics. The cost is $49 per adult, and $24.50 for children (defined as 12 and under). Lungomare, 1 Broadway, Oakland: This Jack London Square restaurant will be hosting a traditional Thanksgiving meal from 12 - 8:30 PM. The full menu can be seen at www.lungomare.com. The cost is $45 per person, and $20 for children under 12. Reservations are recommended.
