Sunset Magazine moving to Jack London Square!

In a very visible sign of all the great things happening in Oakland and Jack London Square, the popular Sunset Magazine is moving to Oakland after over 60 years in Menlo Park.
In a recent blog, the magazine noted many things that appealed to them about Oakland: Great weather, walkability, and a thriving food and arts scene. Moreover, this move to a more urban area was designed to match the migration of many of their readers from the suburbs to more vibrant and centrally-located neighborhoods.
Sunset Magazine will move into 55 Harrison St., a large building right on the waterfront that has been vacant for several years. This is the same building that will soon house a ferry-building-style artisanal food market on it's ground floor. The Sunset offices will include an outdoor garden, wine cellars, and several test kitchens, and will be great exposure for Oakland and Jack London Square.
We're very excited to have some new neighbors joining us and contributing to the vitality of the neighborhood!
