Stafford Lake Park - You can help with its future
Have you ever been to Stafford Lake? The 139-acre park is about 2 ½ miles west of Novato and a true treasure.
Overseen by the Marin County Parks Department, the park is in need of improvements and there are two events this week where you will learn more about the park and have an opportunity to share your thoughts for its future.
The first is a meeting this Wednesday, October 15th at the Margaret Todd Senior Center, 1650 Hill Road, Novato from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Here you will be able to share your vision of the park and hear more about where the park is now and what are its possibilities.
The second gathering is a Ride the Lake fundraiser this coming Sunday, October 19th at the Novato City Green, 901 Sherman Avenue, where you can contribute to and learn more about progressive skills facility that will occupy 17 acres near the northwest corner of the park.
This your chance to support such an incredible Marin County resource.
