New Year's Events in Jack London Square

Looking for something to do this New Year's Eve in Oakland's hip Jack London Square area? A few local establishments have announced events for the evening that are definitely worth checking out!

The first is a "Cocktail Gala" at Lungomare restaurant The restaurant will be open into the early morning hours, with two dance floors, a full bar, two DJs, and of course great views from the patio area. A special buffet as well as hors d'oeuvres will be served starting at 7 PM.

Tickets are $55 for entry and all-you-can-eat food and can be purchased at www.lungomareoakland.com.

Another local event will be at our neighborhood's new bowling alley/beer garden venue called Plank. Plank's Exclusive Party event starts at 8 PM and includes a special food menu, a $20 game card, 2 drinks tickets, live music, a champagne toast/balloon drop at midnight and much more. Tickets are $60 and can be ordered via their website at www.PlankOakland.com.
