New Feature! Keyword Search Marin MLS Listings

We just added a cool new feature to the Marin Modern website which enables users to search current active listings in Marin County utilizing "Keywords".  This new feature expands on our current search capabilities which includes the ability to find homes for sale in Marin County based on town, street address, MLS #, and map-based search criteria..   

Utilizing Keyword Search to Find Marin Listings

How does this new feature work?    As a web savvy consumer, you are obviously well-versed in utilizing popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN to find what you are looking for on the internet.      Similar to utilizing a search engine to search on "keywords" to find content of interest, this feature enables you to enter keywords that are utilized within individual property descriptions.

To utilize this new feature, you can simply go to the Marin MLS search page of our site and then click on the search option entitled "Keyword".    Once on this page, you will find a text search field box which enables you to enter a keyword of interest (or multiple keywords of interest) to search on.   After entering your keyword and initiating your search, you will be presented with any Marin listings which include the keyword(s) you've searched on within an agents description of the property.

 How can this new feature be helpful?  In many different ways, here are just a few examples…….

1. If you are searching for a home with an au pair unit, you could simply do a keyword search for “au pair”,
2. Interested in a mid-century modern Alliance home or possibly a Kenney home?  try to do a keyword search for "Alliance" or "Kenney",
3. Searching for an eco-friendly or green home?  If so, try to do a search for “eco-friendly” or “green home”
4. Search utilizing the name of an Architect whose work you admire
