Just Sold! I just represented the Seller of this two bedroom/1 bathroom view condo in Tiburon, CA. This was a stylish single-level unit in the Tiburon Hills Estates complex, located just minutes from Hwy 101 and close to the Strawberry Shopping Center.
This seller client, who came to me via a personal referral from another one of my past clients, had just received a very exciting promotion with The Walt Disney Company, which required him to relocate nearer to their...
Despite the low inventory of homes for sale in Marin County, there are over 200 OPEN HOUSES this weekend throughout
Marin to check out (link to open house guide at bottom)!
As you probably know, the real estate market took a big upswing early this
year resulting in multiple offers and over bidding. Buyers who want to get into the market are
looking at all angles for getting their offers accepted. Your interaction with
the listing agent at the open house may set the tone for how your offer is
received, should you make an offer on that property. Therefore I have a few how-to
tips...

Getting rid of those old paint cans is really a piece of cake...It's MUCH easier than you think. Plus, you get to see peacocks and pigs at the same time!
As a Realtor, at the end of just about every single property deal I do, there's always the routine list of things that need to be done, such as remind clients to change their addresses, remind them to turn on the utilities, and figure out who is taking away all of the old cans of paint from the property that just changed hands. Usually sellers will leave partial cans of paint with current colors as a courtesy to the buyers. But what if there's decades-worth of old paint cans stashed? I recently closed escrow on a little condo listing that was just over 1000 square feet, and in the storage unit, there were almost 20 cans of paint, in a variety of colors. The seller was out-of-the area, so the responsibility of getting rid of all of this paint came to me....what to do? Of course, you can hire somebody to come haul it away. But why...

The completion of every transaction is exhilarating but
there is a special satisfaction helping clients buy their first house.Â

New beginnings, starting fresh, a chance to do things the
way you want. Plant a garden, paint your child's room their favorite color,
remodel your kitchen, bathroom or build a man cave.
Home ownership truly is the American dream, usually a dream
brought to reality - a dream come true.
My clients were expecting their second child and quickly growing
out of the apartment they were living in. They, like most modern buyers,
shopped online for months before stepping foot in a house so they were pretty
clear on what they wanted and needed in their first home.

With the first 6 months of 2013
behind us, we wanted to provide East Bay Eichler homeowners with a mid-year
summary of the market for Eichler homes.
A total of 11 Eichler homes have been
sold in the East Bay between January 1 and June 30, 2013.
Sales have remained steady so far this year, however, there has been an uptick
in activity now that the summer-housing season is in full swing.

Taking a closer look at Eichler sales
for?the first half of the year, the majority (6) ?of sales occurred in Walnut
Creek where Eichlers took...
According to a July 18 Report
by DataQuick, a real estate news service, the median price of a Bay
Area home rose at the fastest pace on record in June. The article cited
low mortgage rates, competition for a supply of homes that is limited by
reduced numbers of distressed home sales, and the continuing
improvement of the economy as factors in the rapid increase. According
to the article, June's Bay Area median price of $555,000 represented a
33.1% increase over the same period in 2012, when it was $417,000. The article attributed 75% of the
increase to rising home values, and the remaining 25% to changes in
"market mix" or the types of homes sold. It went on to say that
the median price of a Bay Area home peaked at $665,000 in June/July,
2007 and went as low as $290,000 in March of 2009. A chart accompanying
the article showed Marin County sales volume...
