Having recently sold an amazing
2 story loft with 2 bedrooms, 3 baths and 20 ft ceilings in Fruitvale, I was researching
the neighborhood and found that the Jingletown Arts & Business Community is

6 - 7, 11 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The annual winter event
highlights the work of more than 50 artists who live and/or work in the area
known as Jingletown, which is located between the Park and Fruitvale Street
bridges bordered by the estuary separating Oakland from the island of
Alameda. There will be food trucks featuring delicious...

10 Things I
Love about the 94903 zip code
in San Rafael 94901, I didn't
venture much into the Northern part of San Rafael except for an occasional trip
to the bid "E" at Northgate Mall, a
summer splash at the Terra Linda rec
center pool and of course my annual adventure to the Marin County Fair. In fact, as a SRHS Bulldog, Terra Linda was the rivalling land. All that changed when I bought my first house
in the early ‘90's in Terra Linda. It

This past spring my Sellers put their Fairfax hillside home on the market. It was a lovely, mostly remodeled, 2600 sq. foot rancher with views, a small patio in the front and a lovely deck in the back overlooking Cascade Canyon. The lower level had it's own living room, small -non conforming- kitchen, bedroom and remodeled high end bath.
We were within the city limits of Fairfax which meant that there would be a city resale inspection report likely calling out the non permitted second kitchen.
So, what happened next?
The inspection report came back calling out the illegal kitchen, of course. I told my Sellers to indicate both on their disclosures and with signs over the kitchen that the kitchen was non-permitted by the Town and that the...

Welcome to my favorite new coffee shop located on Berkeley's Fourth Street. This is just what Fourth Street has been needing and if you have not been here yet than check it out. Artis is a great place to bring your laptop and work, grab a perfect espresso, and get your green coffee beans roasted exactly how you want them.

Who will take care of Mittens and Socks when you're out of town for the holidays? Not to
be confused with Dogs who love you and want to be with you. Dogs will gladly hop in the backseat and go anywhere you go. Better yet,
most motels and hotels would rather have a dog for a guest than actual people.
Cats, on the other hand, are a horse of a different color, so to speak. They don't want to go with you and you don't
want to go with them! That's not to say you don't love your furry friends but they don't take kindly to change and travel. That's why the Cat's Cradle was invented. Conveniently located in ...
