Novato Village joins the Marin Village family which includes villages in Mill Valley, Homestead, Tiburon, Ross Valley and Northern San Rafael. Founded five years ago, Marin Villages now has over 500 members and volunteers. It is part of a nationwide movement assisting seniors to "age in place."Â
Marin Villages is a non-profit membership organization that
enables seniors to remain safely and independently in their homes. It provides a wide range of volunteer
services including rides to medical appointments or social events, help with
gardens, computers, pets and household tasks. Members also have access to a
trusted screened network of agencies and services providers via Marin
Villages' website. Local community
volunteers organize a variety of educational, social and wellness programs that
strengthen members' health and connection to community.
