Come join the fun of the Marinwood Park annual egg hunt and pancake breakfast this Saturday April 4th at 10 am. The children all line up at the edge of the grass and when the horn blows they race off to find the hidden eggs! We have been going for the last seven years and it is so much fun to watch the children fill their baskets. There is also a chance for a photo with the Easter Bunny in front of a Fire Truck! Put on by The Lion's Club, the egg hunt is free however the pancake breakfast cooked up by the Marinwood Fire Department has a fee. Pay ahead on line $6 adults, $4 child or day of $7 adults, $5 child.
Marinwood Park is a wonderful park just off Lucas Valley Road on Miller Creek. It offers a community center with lots of activities, summer camp and day care. It boasts a huge pool, playground, bbq area and tennis courts. Marinwood is a popular area of San Rafael to live because of its beauty, great schools varied architecture and proximity to 101 as well as open space.
