East Bay Eichler Homes - 2012 Mid-Year Market Update
Â
As we head into the last half of 2012, I want to provide East Bay Eichler homeowners with a mid-year summary of the market for Eichler homes in the East Bay.
A total of 15 Eichler homes were sold in the East Bay between January 1 and June 30, 2012. Sales have remained steady since the beginning of the year. The majority (7) of sales occurred in Walnut Creek where Eichlers took an average of 21 days to sell at an average sales price of $655,857 (100% of the original list price). Two Eichlers in the Rancho San Miguel neighborhood were bank-owned foreclosures. The highest price paid in Walnut Creek for an Eichler home was $850,000.
Beyond Walnut Creek, there were four Eichler home sales in Castro Valley, and two sales in each of the Eichler tracts in Concord and Oakland.
