66 Capilano Drive, Novato - Sold!

I had the pleasure of representing the buyer on the purchase of a “view home” in the Marin Country Club Neighborhood in Novato. Situated at the top of a long, private driveway, 66 Capilano Drive, has panoramic views of the golf course and surrounding hills. The kitchen features a floor to ceiling greenhouse window and the living room has sliding glass doors along the one wall opening to the view. Built in the late 1970’s, this home has a great floor plan and features 2 beds, 2 baths, a big open loft ideal for an office.  There are decks off each room.

Hacking Hits Real Estate! How to Safeguard Your Assets.

The sums of money changing hands in residential real estate transactions are considerable, often hundreds of thousands of dollars, and sometimes more. The preferred method of moving funds is the wire transfer; it's fast, and up until recently is has been secure and reliable. In an active real estate market like ours in Marin County, there can be several thousand such transfers every year. Nationwide, these regular transactions of large amounts of cash have attracted the attention of some very sophisticated criminals who have found a way to hijack communications between title/escrow companies, real estate agents, and their clients. These thieves intercept the emails, alter the wiring instructions, and then pass them on, hoping the alterations, which direct the funds to their own accounts...

14 Love Court Fairfax CA 94930 - Making Dreams Come True!

I take my fiduciary duty to my clients very seriously. I will negotiate with fierce intensity on behalf of my clients and look out for their best interests from the moment we first meet to well...forever. My mission statement is to end each transaction with a hug and a client for life. I want my clients to trust they are taken care of and after we close escrow to feel like they have an advocate for life.

Once in awhile I am fortunate enough to meet clients that really test my dedication and tug at my heartstrings. From the moment I met this couple I knew they were special and I knew working with them would be incredibly rewarding. The sweetest, most grateful and most dedicated clients I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I get excited for all of my buyer clients. Buying a house is HUGE! Often, the single biggest purchase of your life and I get to be a part of that. This couple really, really, really deserved...

November 2018 Ballot Initiative Offers Property Tax Relief to Seniors Who Want to Sell Their Homes

Unlocking inventory, increasing the number homes for sale and creating more homeownership opportunity for younger buyers is the goal behind the California Association of Realtors (C.A.R.) 2018 Property Tax Portability Initiative. Realtors throughout California are collecting signatures to get this Initiative on the November 2018 ballot. It's my understanding that the Initiative is supposed to remove the barriers that keep Seniors 55 and older from selling their homes.  That would mean allowing Seniors to carry their property tax base to a replacement property anywhere in California and removing the restriction that the replacement property be of equal...

954 Lea Drive in San Rafael - Sold!

Cute as a bug!  I had the pleasure of representing the seller, a long-time repeat client, on the sale of her remodeled 1 bedroom, 1 bath light filled condo on the ground level in Terra Linda. There is a wall of windows east facing for morning sun across the front with a sliding glass door that opens to a nice size patio. The kitchen opens into the living room and has been stylishly remodeled with creamy white cabinets, tiled backsplash in brown tones and stainless steel appliances. There are engineered wood floors throughout except for carpet in the bedroom. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower, new vanity with higher-end faucets and fixtures from Restoration Hardware. A fabulous closet organizing system has been installed in a closet that covers one wall of...

352 Laurel Avenue in Novato - Sold

I had the pleasure of representing the sellers, who have been long-time business owners in San Rafael. At the end of December, they decided to embark on a new phase in their life and in January made a trip to Southern Oregon where they found the perfect home. Everything happened more quickly than they expected.

Fortunately, their 4 bed/2.5 bath home in the rural Black Point neighborhood of Novato was in beautiful showing condition and ready to go on the market. Timing is everything. My clients were ahead of the spring market when there was every little inventory and the buyers, a young family, were decisive...

207 C Street, San Rafael - SOLD!

I had the pleasure of representing the buyer on this 2- bed, 1.5 bath bungalow located in the heart of Gerstle Park. This house checked all the boxes for the buyer; friendly and welcoming neighbors, an active neighborhood association, walking distance to downtown San Rafael without being too close to noise and traffic, renovated older home with  big windows and lots of light, the perfect size yard and a new 2-car garage with enough space for a workshop.

The first time I showed the house to my client, we struck up a conversation with an older neighbor who was in his workshop building pedestals for the San Rafael Mission and birdhouses and bird feeders. He was delightful and represented...

8 Ace Court in Fairfax - Sold

I had the pleasure of working with a fellow Marin Modern colleague who had the buyer for my listing at 8 Ace Court.  Located in desirable Canon Village, this light and bright 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome backs to open space.  It feels like a peaceful retreat and the best of all worlds. Surrounded by open space with biking and hiking all around, it is minutes from vibrant downtown Fairfax where live music can be enjoyed most evenings, great restaurants, the Fairfax Movie Theater, organic ice cream at The Scoop and much, much more.  Public transportation stops in front of Canon Village for an easy commute East to 101 or to West Marin.

66 Hector Lane, Novato - Sold

I had the pleasure of representing the seller of 66 Hector Lane in Novato.  I represented her when she purchased 66 Hector Lane in 2015. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo with a detached single car garage in Southern Novato had been extensively remodeled several years ago.  We were fortunate to receive a good offer before this condo went on the market which enabled the seller to relocate to Southern California without the worry of having two mortgages for an extended period of time.  The timing worked out beautifully for the seller and it allowed the buyers to purchase their first home.  It was truly a win-win for everyone. The condo sold today for $370,000.

If you are buying or selling,...
