Alaska Airlines Goes Mid-Century Modern!
Recently I was interviewed for a piece on mid-century modern homes, and I’m excited to say that you can find the article in the October issue of Alaska Airlines Magazine and Horizons Air Magazine. The article, titled Retro Renaissance – The mid-century modern home is back in style, gives a brief, but comprehensive overview of the modern movement and discusses communities that feature these very special homes, including some of those found here in Marin County.
This article has a little something for everyone. For newcomers to modern movement it provides information on some of the basic features found in mid-century homes including Eichlers, Rummers, Alexanders and Cliff Mays. For those of us who are a little more knowledgeable, there is a nice discussion of why these homes are so popular.
