8 Mount Foraker Court, San Rafael - Just Sold

Nothing can take the place of persistence and the new owners of the wonderful Eichler at 8 Mount Foraker Court in Upper Lucas Valley, San Rafael are thrilled that they kept up their search.

Like most buyers, they had made offers on many houses and were disappointed when other buyers overbid their offer or could offer that well-respected commodity - cash. But that did not deter them; we kept looking and it took well over a year to find their castle.

Though the house needs some work, the buyers could see the value. The 4-bedroom, 2-bath home has a remodeled kitchen and two upgraded bathrooms - amenities that are usually the most expensive to update.

Timing was also on their side. Many buyers were focused on another upgraded house in Terra Linda when the persistent buyers made their under-asking $1,100,000 offer for 8 Mount Foraker. As it was the only offer, it was accepted.  

Mount Foraker Court is in a wonderful location for their growing family - a block from Dixie School, the Upper Lucas Valley Community Center, views of the Open Space Preserve, hiking trails and yet a straight shot to Hwy 101.
