The Bay Area's real estate market is extremely competitive these days for buyers.  And, lots of people searching for homes in the area are now seriously exploring new construction options, as available existing home inventory is very low.

Pre-fab homebuilding is a lower-cost, timesaving option for building new homes.  Combining exceptional modern design with "green" building techniques, all while streamlining the construction process, interest in pre-fab homes has peaked.  However, in highly populated urban areas, there is a shortage of buildable land.

I'm pleased to have assisted the lucky buyers of a parcel of land located at 7 Sunrise Hill Road, Orinda, CA 94563, which recently closed for $339,000.  The lot measures around ½ acre on a gentle upslope with views of surrounding hills and the adjacent Wilder Community.

During the escrow process, I was able to assist the buyers with performing investigations on the property, discovering utility accessibility and connections, and starting Design Review process with the City of Orinda.  The lucky buyers will spend the rest of the year finalizing plans and building their dreamy, modern pre-fab home constructed and designed by the guys at Connect Homes.  Once the site-prep work is completed, the home will be packaged and transported from the factory in Southern California to the buyers' new home site in Orinda.
