3.8% Tax...If I Sell My Marin County Property Do I Pay?

There is a lot of confusion and misunderstanding about the new 3.8% tax going into effect January 1, 2013.  To help you understand this tax, I thought it would be helpful to give you The National Association of Realtors Top Ten Things You Need to Know About the 3.8% Tax: www.ksefocus.com/billdatabase/clientfiles/172/4/1609.pdf.

Additionally, the National Association of Realtors released a comprehensive brochure that explains the new tax called, The 3.8% Tax Real Estate Scenarios & Examples Effective January 1, 2013.  www.ksefocus.com/billdatabase/clientfiles/172/8/1437.pdf.

I'm happy to help direct you to more information or if you'd just like to talk about real estate, feel free to contact me.....a very famous local broker always said, "Real Estate IS A Conversation." Let's Talk!
