It’s location roughly 5 miles northeast of Stewarts Point along Annapolis Road offers potential home buyers a rather quiet and secluded atmosphere, while its close proximity to the coastline also helps keep the temperature pretty mild for the most part, with the average temperature failing to exceed 71.6 °F even during the warmest month’s of the year. The Annapolis community doesn't really have a traditional downtown, but there is one local school located here that serves students in grades K-8. Called Horicon School, students who go to Kindergarten, elementary school, and middle school in Annapolis eventually transition to Point Arena High School over in Point Arena, CA, which is about a 40 to 50 minute drive north along State Route 1. Like many Sonoma County communities, Annapolis is also home to a local winery, which is widely thought of as one of the premier wedding venues in all of Sonoma County thanks to its hillside location and sweeping views of the region.
