I wanted to sell homes for as far back as I can remember. When I was a child, my mother would take me along to visit open houses often. She loved knowing everything going on in the neighborhood even though we weren’t buying a house. While she would speak to the Realtor, I would lose myself somewhere in the house and imagine what it would be like to live there. I would place all the furniture in the rooms and decorate them in my mind. I would do all this in a short 10 minutes every time and I would leave feeling like I would miss being there. I should have known then, that the only career path I could ever possibly take, would be real estate sales.
I have a keen vision for any homes potential. I also have a personality that loves winning. These two essential traits drive me to be so passionate about helping my clients with their home purchase or sale. After buying and selling many of my own homes, and helping others with theirs for many years, I truly understand the impact a great real estate investment makes on the quality of ones life. If I feel a particular investment is not a good one for my client, I am not afraid to tell them so. I am most interested in their long-term happiness. If it is not good for my client, it is not good for me.
I know that being an outstanding Realtor is more than just being great with people and managing expectations. It requires a passion for market knowledge, business savvy and personal care, and – most importantly – a watchful eye that protects a client from risk. This is what I will to bring to you!
How long have you called Marin County home?
I have been living in Marin County for 16 beautiful years! How lucky I am to call this place home. After growing up in San Diego, also a beautiful place, I just could not get myself to move back after experiencing living such a rich life in Marin.
How long have you been a Realtor in Marin County and what (real estate related) accomplishments are you most proud of?
I have been a Realtor since 2004. I have experienced the high’s and low’s of the market and I have always been willing to take on the challenge of any market while being able to make a living doing what I love no matter the circumstance. I was one of the very first agents in Marin to take on the “short sale” while many others were scared away by it. I have a never give up spirit and choose to persevere through any challenge with hard work. And, in an incredibly low inventory market, I have always got my buyers into a home. So, I would say I am most proud of making things possible in some seemingly impossible situations.
I am also proud of my design accomplishments. I have a degree in interior design and I have managed many home renovations. I have a passion for interior space, which led me to becoming a certified home stager. It is true, that staged homes sell faster and for more money than homes left empty. I offer home staging as part of my service for sellers. I know how to make a house feel like a home, and this is what helps sell a property for top dollar.
Sell us. Why Marin County?
Living in Marin County is truly a blessing. We are in the heart of everything beautiful. At our fingertips we have the culture, music, museums, shopping and dining in San Francisco. For quiet afternoons we are just a short drive to Sonoma and Healdsburg for wine tasting and picnicking. You can go camping or hiking amongst the giant redwoods. Muir Woods is majestic. Stinson Beach is breathtaking. We have the water and the mountains. The weather is incredible. It is a privilege to be a part of a community that celebrates being active, healthy, educated and diverse as well as environmentally sustainable. When you live around like-minded people, you get the most out of life and the relationships you build. Essentially, this is what we have here in Marin.
Give it up. Where is your favorite secret (or not so secret) destination in Marin County?
Hands down West Marin. My favorite kind of day is a drive out to Marshall for fresh oysters on the bay. Followed by a lazy afternoon lounging and swimming at Hearts Desire Beach in Inverness. To top it off, on the way back home, we will stop in Point Reyes for and incredible meal made with local, organic ingredients. This, to me, wraps up a perfect day in Marin County.
Complete this sentence: In my free time....
In my free time I am typically hiking on any of the incredible trails all over Marin. I have two children and I am immersed in their lives at this juncture, so free time is not readily available. I would say that I spend all the time I can with my family doing things locally that we enjoy together…and there is so much here to do that the list of options is endless. We love to be outdoors.
Enrica is a true professional and does not give up.
I had the great fortune to meet Enrica Ramm from Marin Modern Real Estate at the very first open house I attended. I didn't have a realtor at the time and we just clicked. From the very beginning she was proactively assisting me in my attempt to purchase my very first home in a very long time. The search process presented some frustrations on my part due to the overbidding on properties. It was definitely a seller's market and very challenging. Enrica was steadfast in her approach and always presented herself in a professional manner. Her intelligent and experienced strategies to the market conditions and how it related to my situation was extremely helpful. It took several months to find just the right home, both in price and location. My 7 month journey finally ended happily. While Enrica was on vacation, she received an email that was sent to the realtors in her office for an off-market property. She called and said this would be perfect for me. I went out to the property and she met me there after her scheduled flight back. I put in an offer that day. It was accepted! I just can't thank Enrica enough for her perseverance and being an advocate for me in my home buying experience. You are a star!
Winning in a multiple offer situation!
Enrica represented me on the purchase of my first home in Novato after relocating from Arizona in 2005. I did not understand the real estate market in Marin coming from another state. She carefully explained the buying process and what I needed to do to win my dream home in a multiple bidding frenzy. With 17 offers on the perfect home she found for me, she was able to win it with her powerful negotiating skills. She is respected in the real estate community and the agent on the other side had even mentioned to me that she enjoyed working with Enrica. During the purchase process she was diligent and professional. I felt very comfortable with her handling the largest investment of my lifetime. I knew I could trust her. I would recommend Enrica to anyone looking to buy or sell. And when I do sell my home someday, I would absolutely list with her! She will get the job done and exceed my expectations all over again. The best part of the entire transaction was that I made a friend for life when it was all over!
I have sold three homes with Enrica and will use her services again.
Enrica has sold three houses for me in the Novato area. I have been very happy with all of these transactions. She is extremely hard working and for me most importantly she answers all calls and is on every detail. Enrica totally knows the market and will not steer you wrong. I would highly recommend her for any home sale you are contemplating in the Marin County market. Very happy client.
Enrica found us a property off market and we were first time home buyers.
Enrica was great from the very first time we met. As first time home buyers in the area, she provided us with so much information about the areas we were looking in, which ultimately led us to purchase the perfect home for our family. She was always responding to our emails, texts, and phone calls regardless of the time or day of week. My husband and I are happy to have found such a great partner and will continue to turn to her for future advice and insights.
Enrica wrote letters and found us the perfect property off market.
From the moment we met, Enrica demonstrated her dedication to helping us find and get the house we were looking for, from going actively after properties that interested us to getting the inspection done in no time and putting us in touch with efficient and responsive mortgage broker and title company. At all steps of the process, she was available and tireless.
Challenging market for FHA buyers but we got a great home.
Being new to the home-buying process, my fiance and I, were lucky to have someone like Enrica guiding us through such an important life event. Not only was she very knowledgeable on market conditions, but she was relentless in her search to find us our first home. When we signed the escrow papers, she was by our side every step of the way and afterwards gave us her heartfelt congratulations. I can't say that buying a house isn't stressful, but having Enrica as our real estate agent really made us feel that we have a friend on the inside. We will definitively recommend her to friends and family and remember her for any moves in the future.
We have bought 2 homes and sold 2 homes with Enrica.
Enrica was instrumental in getting our house sold at an over asking price. She is professional and guided us through the strategy of successfully selling our house quickly.
Another off market sale!
Enrica proved to be very professional and eager to help us find a home. She went out of her way to find us a lovely property off market, and was very helpful and supportive throughout the escrow stage. We highly recommend Enrica.
Our search took over a year but we got a great home off market.
Enrica had a great sense of what we were looking for after working with us for over a year. Despite the fact that we put our search on hold, Enrica continued to keep us in mind and called us with an opportunity she felt would be a good fit. It was. We are expecting our first child in August and now we have a new home for our new family.
The challenge for VA buyers can be handled by a great Realtor.
My husband and I recently moved to the San Francisco Bay area which is known to be a very tough housing market. As a former active duty Navy/Army veteran who went into non-profit work, I always prefer to use the VA to help me purchase my home. I heard horror stories about veterans attempting to purchase in this market and I have to thank Enrica Ramm for working with my broker to ensure a successful purchase. Without Enrica’s help my broker would not have been able to secure my VA loan and I would be just another veteran trapped in this tight housing market.
Thank you both for helping my family, during such a stressful move. Take care and I wish you both the best as you work to help others like me find their dream home.
