Have you ever been flipping through the channels, only to find yourself glued to the couch in an HGTV binge session? We’ve all been there, watching entire seasons of shows like “Property Brothers,” “Fixer Upper,” and ...Read More
I am a full-time professional Realtor serving Marin and Southern Sonoma County. I have had the pleasure of serving these communities for the past 12 years. What I like best about residential real estate are the people who I humbly get to guide them through the process of buying or selling a home.
I like to think of myself as the pilot. I know where we are going, I understand all of the steps (and paperwork!) required to get your destination and I have the experience to avoid or minimize the turbulence along the way. The purchase or sale of a home is typically the largest financial transaction you will make in your life. Having the right pilot flying you through the transaction is best way to ensure a smooth flight and safe landing. Allow me to be your pilot!
How long have you called Marin County home?
How long have you been a Realtor in Marin County and what (real estate related) accomplishments are you most proud of?
Since 2004 and I am most proud of surviving the great recession! These were tough years in real estate and I was able to adapt, learn and help clients make the most of the market.
Sell us. Why Marin County?
Oh my gosh, there are so many reasons to live in Marin County! I believe Marin is the most beautiful place to live in the Bay Area. You are equally close to the ocean, the bay, the city and wine country. It is comprised of individual towns each with its own unique community. If you're a joiner, of any age, there are lots of opportunities to get out participate. And if you are not a joiner, no worries, you are free to choose what is best for you. Enjoy the outdoors, the arts, fine dining, shopping, sports and more and never leave the county. The schools, both public and private are some of the very best in the state. All I can say is, you have an opportunity to live in one of the most desirable places in the U.S. and the world … take advantage and enjoy!
Give it up. Where is your favorite secret (or not so secret) destination in Marin County?
if you promise not to tell anyone, I'll share my favorite spot. I love water. I find solace near water that it is difficult to put in words. So, it is no surprise that my favorite spot is water related. It is Muir Beach! Specifically, the far side of Muir Beach around the rocks where tide pools are visible during low tide. There you will find sea anemoes, barnacles, muscles, sea stars and more. But, be warned, this portion of Muir Beach is clothing optional.
Complete this sentence: In my free time....
I love going to concerts, spending time with my family & friends, walking my dogs and hanging out at Muir Beach (with clothes on).
Amy Glaser represented us in the purchase of our new home and is someone we would eagerly recommend. From the very beginning, Amy's professionalism, experience and commitment were so helpful in our search. She knew exactly what properties we'd want to see, and had always done her research before showing us a new listing.
Amy continued to work hard for us after our offer was accepted, and she and her team logged many hours helping us complete the purchase. We always felt like we were in very capable hands, and not a single thing was left to chance. Amy is also a very warm, engaging person, and though buying a home can be a tough road sometimes, it was always nice to see Amy waiting at the end of a driveway.
I sold my house very quickly, closed without a problem and moved within six weeks of putting the house on the market. That efficiency and speed is due in large part to Amy and her meticulous attention to every detail of the process and transaction. I could not be happier with her way of working, her knowledge of the whole real estate process, her good nature and her ability to focus on what is most important in an often confusing situation. She was (and is) the best!
Amy is the first Realtor I have been 100% satisfied with the job she did for me. I have sold other homes and was never satisfied with job of my agent. Then I worked with Amy and that changed. Even to this day, when I have a real estate related question, I call Amy. She is gets the job done and with a smile.
There is no one as hard working, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, NOT pushy, and frankly good at what she does as Amy Glaser. She treated us like gold and found us a wonderful home during a down time in real estate.
